| The Kiss to Remember |

It was my first day at my new school and the second I walked into my homestead room and saw Andrew, I knew that love at first sight existed. He seemed so nice and sweet and best of all, I thought that he liked me too. Well... being the most 'out there' girl you would know, I asked him if he wanted to go out sometime, but he told me that he had a girlfriend, but that we could still be friends. The few months after that, for me, were the worst of my life. But then, for 1 whole week, he didn’t come to school. I thought he might be sick so I went and visited him. When I got to his house his mum told me the whole story. He had been in a fight with his girlfriend in the car and she was so angry that she intentionally swerved off the road and into a gully. His girlfriend was in hospital with minor burns and a broken rib. Andrew had seen a whole other side to her that night. Andrew had a dislocated elbow and had to have a knee reconstruction, so he didn’t go back to school for the next few weeks. I visited him everyday since the accident. Then, after school one day I went to visit him (like every other day) and he told me that he had broken up with his girlfriend a few days ago. Then, without another word, he leaned over and kissed me softy on the lips. I went all dizzy with disbelief. We started going out after that and we are still going out to this day. It was the most memorable moment of my life.
