They fall in love. They get married...But, something happens at the honeymoon...Now she follows him everywhere.

Chapter 1

“Aida, honey;pick up the pace, or we’ll be late. We only have three hours and we still have to do your hair, and get you to the church.” said Aida’s mother, Lucia.
“I’m coming mother.” replied Aida.

Three hours later, at the church, everyone turned around and looked at Aida walk down the aisle. Her beauty was radiant and unique.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Do you, Aida Samuels, accept Luis Colon as your wedded husband?” asked the priest.
“I do!” said Aida smiling at Luis.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After the wedding; in their honeymoon, Aida tells Luis that she’s going outside to buy a drink.
Three and a half hours later, Aida was nowhere in site.
But then, Luis receives a phonecall, and all he says is “No.”

Chapter 2

Aida Samuels died two days after her wedding.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Two years later, Luis was walking home from work, but in a park nearby he saw something that left him in chock. He saw a young lady that looked just like Aida.He walked towards her and asked her what’s her name, she said it was Aida.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That night in his house, while he was sleeping; he had a nightmare. When he jumped up in fright, he stared blankly at the image in front of him. The young lady that he saw at the park, was standing right in front of him.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Days passed, and he walked through the same park every day, and every day that same lady was there; always standing in the middle of a heart shaped fountain and a statue of a lady everyone loved in the city. And every night she appeared in his room after he jumped in fright from his nightmares.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter 3

One day, Luis got frustrated and walked towards the young lady called Aida and asked her “Why are you always standing here? And why do you always appear in my room every night? What do you want?”

The young lady just smiled at him and said “Because you don’t let me go.”
“What? What are you talking about? I don’t even know you!” said Luis frustrated.
“Yes you do. I’m Aida.Your love!” said the young lady.
“No you’re not! Aida died two years ago! What do you want?” asked Luis more frustrated.
“I am Aida.I want you to let me go. Ever since my death, you never accepted the fact that I was dead; and because of that I can’t leave!”
Luis just stared at her blankly.
“Your happiness is my passage to the other side. Things happen for a reason Luis.” she continued.
“Are you real?” he asked ignoring completely what she said.
“No. I’m a ghost. Only you can see and hear me.”

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Two months later, Luis walked through the same park but didn’t see the young lady called Aida, the statue, or the heart shaped fountain. The only thing that he found that he knew was from Aida, was a card in his night stand (every night) that said: “Live your life wisely. But just remember, that I am your everlasting love. I’m in a new home, and all because of you.”

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Luis never saw Aida again except in photos and in his dreams. He got married with an Italian young lady, and had two daughters (Jessica and Aida).Although he made a new life in earth; he knew that his everlasting love, was in a better place waiting for him. He knew she was his everlasting love.

The End
