| Love in a Virginia Chat |

It was July 6th,2000. I had just gotten home from a long day of work when I decided to get online.I didn't have anything else to do that night so I decided to go into the Virginia Chat room on AOL. When I got into the chat room I typed my stats, and waited patiently for someone to message me. After a couple minutes of waiting I decided to just message someone instead. I looked through the list of people who were in the chat room and randomly picked someone to talk to. We started talking to each other, and after a couple minutes I asked him if he wanted to meet, something I don't normaly do. He asked if he should call me, I said yes, and gave him my number. I got off the computer, and a couple minutes later he called. That night we stayed on the phone for three hours just talking about everything. The next couple of nights we talked to each other on the phone for hours, and decided it was time to meet. We made plans to meet at 1pm on July 17th, 2000 at a bench infront of Sears at my local mall. I had my friend come with me to meet him since I was meeting him offline, I felt it would be safer if I brought someone along. Matthew and I met that day at the mall, and we've been together ever since. It's now been over a year, and we've never been happier. I think of our story as an example of destiny. We were made to find each other, and we are now making future plans for our wedding.
