I was in my dorm room one day bored out of my mind. So I decided to go into a chat room and see who I could talk to. I wasn't looking for anything serious, just to waste some time. I spotted a name that caught my eye so I sent him a message. We had so much in common it was unbelievable. Everything I ever wanted in a man I found in him. I'm not in love yet, but Im getting there. We talk every night and he's always on my mind. He's always sweet and respectful. He's already declared that he wants to seriously date me when I finish college. And I couldn't be happier with this arrangement. I only see one apparent problem. My mom is very overprotective and I know she won't approve of me talking to someone online. I don't want to lie to her but Im not going to let her prevent our having a relationship. I don't know what will happen in the future, but I do know that somehow I'm going to convince my mother to give this man a chance. I know she'll like him as much as I do when she gets to know him.
