You Always Stay |
by Ann Marie |
So many times my heart sinks low
You always hear my tales of woe
You listen to me gripe and complain
You’ve got the umbrella when there’s rain
When it’s my time to cry I’m never alone
And sometimes you shed a few tears of your own
You know the heartaches that bring me down
You’ve assured me that you’ll stick around
So many friends have gone away
But—for some reason—you always stay |
