| Always A Friend |

I stare into the eyes of my best friend
While i ponder the problem that is at hand
I've been waiting awhile for this time
I'm praying that everything will turn out fine
This subject has started many fights
But i believe everything will be alright
The problem we've got
It the guy she found, that she thinks is "oh so hot"
He is only one things, and that's bad
He's a bad person, who'll only make her sad
We've been through this many times before
But she just can't find the courage to walk out the door
When i look into her eyes
I see all the tears that she has cried
When i look into her heart inside
It's scarred from all the times he lied
All the times when he said he'd be there
Then never came, and never cared
The times he said he'd be with her all the way
And then was seen with another girl the very next day
Yet everytime she forgives
And his stupid game still lives
All the pain and suffering he caused her
And she is the only one who had the cure
She needs to remember all the times he lied
And then find the courage to say goodbye
She tells me, that she can't change the feelings in her heart
But saying goodbye is always a start
There will be times when she will cry
But i will always be by her side
I'll the one to dry her tears
And keep her safe from all her fears
I'm her best friend
And i'll continue to be there until the end
She may choose to never speak to me again
But i'm going to forever be her friend.
