You gave me a reason
to say I should go on
you handed me some good times
that to me will never be gone
you showed me the meaning
of what a good life was
you showed me a friendship
and taught me how to trust
though there were some times
when things were at their worst
somehow we managed through them
though my heart was about to burst
you are the real reason
why I'm still alive
because in my heart years ago
I was about to die
I love you like a sister
you are my one true friend
you are the one who saved me
from my time to end
though it seems it is over
I will never say it is true
you and me will always be friends
because I'll never ever forget you
