I thought we were friends before anything else
When you obviously chose her over me
I realized that you are full of words with no meaning
I thought I meant more to you
But after you make me look like the liar
I begin to learn where we truly stand
I thought you loved me more
If I ask you that and you do not know
I assume I still have a chance to have all of you
I thought you loved me period
When you make sure you say it
But now I see that we see love differently
If you can so easily toss me to the side
I finally realize that if you would rather
Lie to her and cheat with me
Stay with her than get with me
Just be with her and leave me be
Because I’m tired of being heart-broken
Every time you comprehend
“I love you but I’m in love with her, Best Friend”
