Internet Love
by Stacey Killough
I do not recall the specifics of how we met,
I do know that it happened on the internet.
Although you are miles and miles away,
I think and dream of you every day.
I dream of your arms holding me tight,
And of lying next to you every night.
My desire is to be nearer to you.
For if I was I would never be blue.
But as I lie here alone in my bed,
Thoughts of you run through my head.
We have exchanged pictures through the phone line,
And I have to admit, you are mighty fine.
Until I met you, I never believed in love,
But now my love for you is as pure as a white dove.
I want to feel you touch my body,
I would not care if it was naughty.
I want to feel your breath on my skin,
For my heart, mind, and soul did you win!
