Have you ever loved someone so much
That you were to afraid to feel their touch?
Too afraid to hear their voice
Because you fear in the end you may not be their choice
Have you ever had feelings for someone so strong
That whatever they do it just never seems wrong?
Whether it was good or bad or wrong or right
Whether they were attacked or they started the fight
Have you ever cared for someone so dear
That just the thought of their loss makes you let loose a tear
And as the drop slides down you wonder what to do
Is it better to never have or is it better to lose?
Have you ever wished that a dream could come true?
A dream with a life of always having them with you
A life where you'll be together until the day that you die
And when that day comes, together your souls will rise
Have you ever felt for someone in all these ways
And to take the first step you were too afraid?
Knowing that once it starts it means it can end
So how does it finish if you don't let it begin?
*Loving someone so much...and wanting them so badly, but you know you could never have them, or at least dont think you can. And you may be too afraid to even bother trying. A way I feel and you probobly do or have at somepoint too. |
