To Neglect Love |
by Abdo Levy |
her words do tell of me deep of my sweet dreams in sleep of weeping crystals from the skies drowning my sorrowful eyes by the transitory cool air blowing across her flowing hair by thy valentine heart of mine I was forever hers at last sun’s concise reign but to contain such a power of wearying hours late is to never sin to never yearn for a barest gentle skin yet morning still wakes and stars still escape the grasp of my fingertips of my parching crimson lips for with each dimming night her lovely might furthers from me like stranded on tormented seas the simplicity of such an unforgettable love to be forgotten in the heavens above with her eloquent smile with a kiss I now know what I miss when all falls amiss |
