Son |
by Bill Turner |
When you were my little man
Laughing, playing and holding my hand
I knew I would be your biggest fan
As you have grown making my life grand
Playing Captain Hook in the yard
Wiping tears from your tender cheek
Sheltering from you that life can be hard
This world is no place for the meek
You have grown becoming my best friend too
A man of honor, dignity, character and pride
My son I want you to live life always as you do
Enjoying life's long and wonderful ride
Never compromise your heart
Stand for what you believe
Defend others - do your part
Be honest - never deceive
I am proud that you are my son
Loving you for all my days
You will always be number one
Perfect in so many ways
