Than that of a mother
And to me dear lady
You've been like no other
In my days of sadness
You never cease to question
The pangs of my heart
And reason for my tension
Without saying a word
Somehow you just know
Simply knowing that you care
Soothes all my woes
You support all my dreams
And listen when I need you
I know while on my journey
You'll be sure to help me through
I thank the Lord everyday
For sheltering me with your heart
As we now have a bond
That no other could tear apart
You've taught me about life
And showed me right from wrong
I am who I am today because of
Who you've been along
There's no one in this world
That I look up to more
And I pray all the time that
