Things that bring me peace...
The sound of my children's laughter
The touch of my grandson's little hand
The way their eyes sparkle
As they tell me of their future plans
How they trust in God
Knowing they know the right way
How they tell me they love me
Each and everyday
Having them in my heart
Feeling them deep in my soul
Brings me so much peace
More than I thought I could know
Making my life worthwhile
Helping me to stay alive
Keeping my head together
Without them, I'd never survive
Bringing calm to my rough seas
Drying the tears from my face
Filling me with strength
So I can rise and take my place
Without them in my life
I'd surely fall apart
I wouldn't care anymore
If I felt anything in my heart
But my heart is made for them
They're all I'll ever need
My world surrounds them all
Without them, I wouldn't be.
