											| Two Little Boys | | by Deena Hansen | | There are these two boys Who I love very dear
had their mother not made mistakes
I may not have been here

Their mother left them several times
the last time she could not return
 she made a huge mistake
 that everyone would soon learn

She killed a man with a gun
 got seven years of time
 and in those seven years
These two little boys became mine

I love them as my own
 and care for them everyday
I am the mother that they need
 In every single way

Now the seven years have passed
she wants to see her kids
but they aren't so little now
and they don't like her for what she did

So they had to see her once
and that is all it took
she had to reevaluate the situation
 and give it another look

 after a lot of thinking
 she has come to know
that I am their mommy now
 I have helped them grow

This woman who I will not name
has decided to let me adopt
 these two precious boys
that I was there for and she was not
