I remember all our moments
of us being together
each one reminding me
of a happier place and time.
I review the life and look
of such bright
and hopeful moments
now reduced to a soul ful rhyme
When someone says your name the pain still overwhelms me
now that you no longer mine
it will never sound the same
tears roll down my cheek
one for each special memory
of the two of us
in as they say"happier times"
it's so very sad
our hopes-dashed
our dreams- all bid good-bye
the promises we made-now put aside
I think back
on all the,loving things we said
i believed those words
now bittersweet and yet,
I believed in us
took our words to heart
felt your love your security
How can i forget?
somewhere love's path parted
and we went our separate ways
I try, but don't forget you
even dreams have memories.
Still my only hope is forgetting
so I'll store away our memories
along with happy times,
and bury them with new ones made without you
But I still care very,
deeply about you
so I'll just have to wait,
Wait till it's time! |
