Sort of a Luv Story |
by Saira |
OK, here it goes
Story of a girl who looked for love
How was she ever to know?
That this journey is so very tough
Met this boy
At sweet 16
Had her first kiss
Her very first sin
Was too naive to see
The boy was not the one
He had other ideas
He just wanted some fun
But she believed in him
He was the first to say
Those three words
To him it was just play
She engraved those words
Engraved it onto her heart
Told him how she felt
They promised to never part
If only she could see
The boy was so untrue
She could do much better
But she had the 'love flu'
Now that it’s all over
All she ever does is cry
She’s promised herself this
She would never trust a guy
Love has taught her a lesson
That nothing lasts forever
Now its time for her
To forget everything and recover
It’s said you never forget
The first you’ve ever loved
It stays with you forever
Memories never rub off
Why is love so praised?
When all it gives is pain
Why do people fall for it?
Are people just insane?
