I am writing this to you
you know who you are
to be able to write this
i have come so far.
we have been through so much
but i still love you
no matter how you hurt me
i will remain true.
you broke my heart
and crushed my soul
for us to be friends
is my only goal.
i know we are over
and that i accept
but if we kill this friendship
i know we will regret.
i cant deny
the love i still hold
for you my love
it will never grow old.
my heart is bruised
my faith is shattered
but my love for you
has not been battered.
i know you're feelings
do not match mine
and although it hurts
I'll pretend its fine.
because a life without you
is not a life at all
so lets be friends
ill catch you when you fall.
I'm writing this to you
because I'm in tears
losing you from my life
is my biggest fear.
so don't discard me
like an old toy
just give me a chance
my precious boy.
