When you kissed me, my legs began to shake.
i didn't want a broken heart, but it was a risk i was willing to take.
i don't know who to explain the felling i would get,
and i hoped you weren't something i was going to regret.
my heart started to race, my hands began to sweat.
i will always cherish, the day that we met.
we built a lot of memories, some good and some bad.
I'm sorry for the times that i have made you mad.
do you remember when we went to the snow.
it was so cold i didn't want to go.
or when we went to redding, to the water slides.
it drove me crazy, when you were grabbing my sides.
when we were at the river just so you could swim,
i looked at you and thought i know for sure i love him.
i remember the first time you asked me out.
i wanted to say yes without a doubt.
i eventually did but after three days.
you had changed my life in so many ways.
or the first time i said i wanted you
to be the one i gave myself to.
when i left for Wyoming and i cried in your arms.
i felt like you could keep me from any of life's harms.
then i told you i loved you and you said you loved me to.
it was time for me to go and i didn't know what to do.
this feeling wont go away after all these years.
so i sit in the dark to cry my tears.
you are with her now and i cant change that.
but she cant stop me from keeping your hat.
i look at it everyday and remember what we use to be,
I'm hoping and praying one day you will see.
i love you and have since the day we met.
so know your something i wont ever forget.
