Wasn't It You? |
by Amber Warren |
Wasn’t it you
Who said I’d be happy
That I wouldn’t be sad
And never get mad
Wasn’t it you who used to kiss me
And hold me in your arms
And told me I’d never be harmed
Wasn’t it you
Who held my hand?
When we were with my family
And danced to weird bands
Wasn’t it you
Who promised to always love me?
And you would always be here for me
On the times I needed you the most
Wasn’t it you
Who said you'd leave her
And it would only be me and you
But instead of one girl you wanted two
Yes it was you
All these things you tell me
Didn’t come out true
Because each night I’m left crying over you
