Taken For Granite
by Jim B
On a brisk windy day I stepped out of my car.
I look in the drive and wonder where you are.
You are not far.

Since the day that I met you I knew we were destined.
And with each days sunrise I count every blessing.
You are my best friend.

Physcally you're plan has been fulfilled.
With just cause more than tears spilled.
God is real.

Do your thing up there and soon we'll unite.
Oh that joyous day when i take my flight.
Already feels right.

This is my very first poem ever. Thought i would dedicate to anyone who has lost a loved one.
