Imagining Us |
by Kerri |
I envision watching you sleeping
in the morning before the sun rise
I imagine touching your face
before you open your eyes
Softly stroking your bare chest
in my own special little way
kissing you gently on the cheek
as you're waking for the day
I can't wait to bring you coffee
just one of the things I want to do
I long to watch you shave
standing in the mirror behind you
Supposed to be getting ready for work
we become playful instead
I picture us laughing
as we're racing back to the bed
I, now, can only imagine
how our life together will be
I hope you'll always want me close
and will never grow tired of me
This my love, as long as I live
I swear to you is true
Years may come and they may go
but I'll never stop loving you |
