Too little time
by Sammi Morris
Given the chance to take in your grace,
I would see the beauty of maybe one spot
But to take in the loveliness of even your face,
Would take much more time than I have got.

Given a moment I could tell of one thing,
Which I love completely about you,
But to tell you of every joy you bring,
Would take more than a lifetime to do.

Given the option to reveal my affection
I could write my thanks to you in rhyme,
But if I wanted to show in your pure perfection
Even forever would hold too little time.
