											| You Saved Me |
											| by Ele |
Just when I believed I was to die, you arrived and you saved me
You may not have realised the impact you had
But my soul was sure to die, before you saved me.

I'd given up hope of the excitement I craved
Leading a life so mundane
I thought surely this was it for my inspiration and my spirit
But you arrived and my mind was saved.

Numbness had overcome me
Believing I'd felt everything there was to feel
I'd given up chasing a life that excites
Then you came along and made me right.

You threw away my constant boredom
My wall of numbness was torn down
You took away fear of unvarying lifestyles
Change made my spirit sound.

You saved me. |
