You can |
by Sammi Morris |
My heart is empty
But you can fill the space.
My life is dark
But you can light it up with your face.
My soul is frowning
But you can make it smile.
My legs are tired
But for you I?d run a mile.
My words are silent
But you can make them loud.
My confidence is down low
But you can make me proud.
My thoughts are jumbled
But you can make them clear.
My mind is full of worries
But you can end my fear.
My ears are hurting
But your words can soothe their pain.
My eyes show me hate
But you can show me love again.
My tears are falling
But you can wipe them away.
My life is lost
But you can help it find its way.
My face is full of regrets
But you can rip them apart.
My world is empty of gifts
But you can have my heart. |
