I Wish I Could Hold The Time
When you walk into my life
I knew I would never want you to leave.
But if losing you is inevitable,
how I wish I could hold the time.
I would stop it from running,
so the time of losing you won’t come.
Or I would bring it to the far future
to totally heal my broken heart
so I would not feel the agony of losing you.
But I guess the best I would do
is to bring it back to the time
you became a part of my life.
So I could feel again the memories of the past.
The time we’ve been together.
The time you made my days bright and beautiful.
The time you gave meaning to my life.
And I would decide to stay there for good.
And to be with you forever.
Oh how I wish I could hold the time.
