Waiting by My Phone |
by Charles Edinger |
I call you every morning
Just to say hello
When you don't answer
My heart begins to slow
I know your probably just asleep
But that doesn't change the fact
That if I don't hear your voice
My heart begins to crack.
I go on with the day
Waiting by my phone
Just trying to hide my fears
Of being all alone.
Even though I know it hasn't rang
I look it over twice
I didn't know how the distance was going to be
But now I know the price
I don't get to see your face
So I have to hear your voice
So waiting by my phone
Is my only choice.
When my phone finally rings
My heart is all anew
I quickly pick it up
Just so I can say "I Love You"
