I watch the raindrops trickle slowly down the window
As I sit alone.
Dreaming of when I was with you.
Missing the things we used to do.
How I wish we could be
How I long for us to see.
That our love is forever lasting.
We can pretend that its not so
We can run away as far as our legs will go,
but when our hearts connected
they grew roots
and when I try to forget you
your flower slowly shoots.
I remember the long walks we had
In rain, sun and snow
They were the best days of my life
I just want you to know!
Please dont let go
of your love for me.
Dont think that I have
because if you open your eyes you'll see.
This poem is for you
It comes from deep inside
Us not being together,
is like a sea without a tide!
I know we'll make it through
our hearts will soon be true,
because through all my confusion
I'm certain of 1 thing
and that is I love you.
