Alone by the window I sit
look'n at the world with jealous eyes
Everyone has someone to love
Yet love keeps passing me by
Crying tears of misery
no joy to be found
I'm reaching for your heart
but I'm sinking in the ground
How long must I struggle
before I'm freed from this jail
How long must I burn
before you release me from my hell
My isolated days
Turn into lonelier weeks
Sadness comes out of hiding
When your love is all I seek
Alone by the window I sit
waiting for you to realize
that I need you to love me
