I think of you, but you not me
by Steven Beesley
I think of you, but you not me.
I pine for you, but you not me.
I long for you, but you not me.

My heart is on fire, but it is not to be.
My soul cries out for you to please come set me free.

Is this how it should forever be?
For me to love you and you not to love me?
To walk alone and never with thee.

A pain inside shall always be, a companion of mine for all eternity.
Forever images of you will haunt me and never leave.

Just the thought of you shall always taunt me.
I would do anything you ask should your heart receive me.
