My days still grey
by Gina R. Waldrop
You said you can’t love me.
You want to you tried.

But I will never compare to,
The one I followed behind.

I fall oh my knees,
Crying on God please.

I love him like no other before.
I cannot breath as he walks out the door.

It killed my soul to let you go.
You broke my heart, tore me apart.

I think about you most everyday.
My heart still mourns my days still grey.

How could this have happened to me?
God knows I was so hard-core.

I took down those walls piece by piece.
Only to build bigger ones without any cease.

Thanks to you I will never be hurt again.
For I will never let anyone else in.
