i will forever love you
our bond has never felt so strong.
even though you'll no longer be with me
i feel your life linger on.
where will you go my darling?
i see only darkness within the light.
promise to never forget me
when you spread your wings tonight.
and everytime i close my eyes
i see you smile again.
you're going now to a better place
where your sickness will finally end.
but now you lay motionless
your cold hands ontop of mine.
i tried to help, to find a cure
just couldn't keep up with time.
i feel your touch when everytime
the sun shines through the rain.
and when the wind blows through the trees
your caresses soothe my pain.
as i lay in our bed, the one we shared
hear these words spoken true.
you'll always be my one true love
and i will never forget you. |
