Thinking Back
by Cassie
I'm sitting here now
Thinking of why
I believed what you said
I knew it was a lie
but you said it wasnt
that the words you said were true
so why am I sitting here
not knowing what to do
I need to talk to you
I want you by my side
and i thought you said
you never lied
my heart is broken
but it doesnt matter
all it did
was hit the ground with a splatter
its not like this is something
i havent been thru before
but just thinking about it
i miss you more
im sitting on my bed
my eyes full of tears
all i ever wanted
was for you to be here
and you always said
that you wished too
and that i could be "the one"
and i meant the world to you
always tellin me
how much you wanted to cuddle
for me to fall asleep in you arms
and for us to be a couple
deep down in my heart
i knew something wasnt right
i guess i could let go
talking to you every night
you helped me through hard times
and never made me mad
but now im just sitting here
wanting you back
it all my fault
that not a surprise
and all i can feel
are the tears flowing outta my eyes
