I answer the phone and I hear your voice
I open the door and I see your face
But nothing could prepare my heart
For what happened next.
I'm not sure it was meant to happen
The moment just carried us away
I've been going over it in my mind
But I still don't know what to say.
Our friends say it was just a kiss
But when our lips touched I felt something strange
From this moment on I've got a feeling
Our friendship is going to change.
We're supposed to be great friends
But that kiss sent my heart up to heaven
So now I wanna ask you one question
That could change our lives forever.
I wanna hold you in my arms
I wanna ask if you'll be mine
I want us to be together
For the rest of our time.
