Fall From Power
by Dwain
He sits there smiling
As love breaks the mold
A pendulumn of emotion
But shes in control

He stands there waiting
For words made of dreams
Balanced in her hands
Its not what it seems

Hes stranded there wanting
More than allowed
Her timid reaction
Hes one in the crowd

He continues to press
Returns to the sin
Opposites once
Are now with him

Shes stranded there thinking
Remorse and regret
Once was for granted
Was lost as the bet

She stands there wondering
What could have been
A flawless dance
If she were with him

She sits there waiting
For time to come through
Her fall from power
Leaves them no clue
