cool morning
I focus to see the
pureness of your message
The warmth of
the calming smell of coffee
soothes my reaction
makes me stable to accept
the memories of yesterday
My eyes fill with
glitter happiness
for feelings of a
sweet friendship

All that is needed is
a smile for me to wake again
in this reality of madness
