Mother, I miss you
by Deena Hansen
As I sit alone
I stare at the wall
I can not remember
the last time a tear didn't fall
for every day
sadness is inside
It is just some days
it is easier to hide
Something is missing
that was lost long ago
only if she could come back
My happiness I could show
She is forever in my heart
And I think of her every day
I do not think this sadness
will ever go away
