You and me became we the first time
Our lips intertwined
From then I always knew you'd be mine
You let it go to your head
We both failed to realize that
No one wanted us together
I agree that maybe I wasnt good enough for you
But I thought that true love conquers all
But for us it didnt apply I guess
Though my mistakes freed us
Im glad mostly for you
Because you found the only person that would truly satisfy your hunger
But I must say
You did the right thing by giving your self a reason
Guilt along with sorrow and misery
But whats done is done
It cant be changed
So why can't the understanding get to my brain
But my heart breaks over and over
Every time I think about you and us
But its for me to leave it in the past
And to understand that for you my feelings must turn to dust
And crumble in my hands
