You are all that I dream about
when there is no more sun that I can see.
You are all I really need
when my days are short
and I am on my knees.
So what can I say that has not been said?
You have surely heard every line
that would be spoken to such a wonderful guy.
The worthy words I cannot seem to find.
But one day I will find the courage
to stumble over what is real.
To act a fool, the price to pay?
If only I could tell you how I feel.
No, I could not say
for I lack the proper words.
But with some help from heaven above
I can attempt to speak the things I feel for you.
And hopefully return to me your love.
So I wrote this for you alone,
just to let you know how I feel.
From deep inside a broken heart
(from that piece you often steal):
Every time I think of you,
I stop and float away.
This feeling I cannot explain in words,
but I feel it everyday.
And I hope it never goes away.
So I took this moment to say....
I love you and miss you in the most painful of ways.
