Velvet carpet sky high |
by Abdo |
velvet carpet sky high with a light breeze from a floating fan the sun winks down twelve hours still patient one wait across that blue star far right by the night moon pass over the undulating hills sail the chill sea free of chains through the maze of trees raise your eyelids see all crystal clear to an ageless rebirth of earth and follow the emerald stream down miles words linger now hollow late to the sound unheard but to few yet to taste the morning dew on my lips again an emotional eclipse of joys and sorrows to have journeyed long yet here near the sandy ledge to the umbrella sedge way below another rainless night shows the gentle tide caresses my toes a simple smile escapes as the kind wind blows from an open window thrilling my arm hairs the dawn bares within arousing the skin her tantalizing eyes and I remember velvet carpet sky high |
