My one and true
The only thing that I woke up for
The only thing that I dreamed about at night
Our hearts were once one
And now your heart belongs to another
This other does not love you as much
But you would rather have her touch than mine
If we were so strong
Than why?
Why did you do what you did
Why should I have been so faithful
I no longer have the strength to cry
My eyes are all dried out
I sat there just trying to swallow the fact
But the tears never made their way out
I love you
I never loved anyone this way
But this is the way that you repay
My love for you will never change
It will forever stay the same
For this breakup you are not to blame
I was not doing my part I guess
So our time together was short lived
But we will have another time
To share our love again |
