My Soul to Keep |
by Bill Turner |
Scent of spring flowers in the air
Warmth of the sun upon our skin
A bottle of wine opened with flair
Touching you with my hand and a grin
These are the things in my head
Lying here alone at night
Dreaming of you in my bed
The world becoming right
Far away from each other
Craving your touch
Tonight my imaginary lover
Never getting too much
As I drift off to sleep
I feel you in my heart
Giving you my soul to keep
Wanting you from the start
