You are one of His brightest angels,
But He sent you down to earth.
Did God ever realize what he did to me?
Sending you into my life,
Holding me close to your heart
And never letting go.
When you spread your wings,
And take me to places,
I have never dreamed about,
I drift away with you.
Now you are MY brightest angel,
You light up my life
With everything you do,
And I will never stop loving you.
One thing I am sure of,
God will miss you a lot,
But He is also glad
