I've been hurt one too many times
and my world would crumble apart
I admit I always fall too hard
but I've been used before
I'm so done with that
I won't believe lies anymore
Maybe I need to slow down
I fell for you so fast
I've wished on every shooting star
just praying we will last
I love that you make me laugh
and the way you smile
and that you make me feel special
you make every second worthwhile
I don't want to cry over you
please don't give me a reason to
I'm trusting you with my heart
so far you've made me happy with everything you do
so make me the promise
and don't tell me any lies
treat me like you should
