I fell in love with love |
by Abdo Levy |
I fell in love with love I lived that dream to awake from her cold, cold glee remember me by the frozen sea at late December’s empty tree and the ceaseless winter snow seemed not to slow, I remember how she smiled at me with her cerulean eyes on that majestic sky, she fell in love with the lies of love on virgin eyes as love dies now by the lone moon and a crimson rose blooms on her grave soon the waves of memory will shore the more and more I mourn by her side the waves at high tide shore the more and more I mourn to flee from me far beyond any star and come a day to revive again the pain within fragile skin the smile of she upon her face the simple feel of her embrace I shall know her smile again if I were to love again for love like the sun will forever shine be mine like an ageless wine yes I remember how she smiled at me with those same eyes she fell in love with love then not me as she lived the dream asleep with me as the infinite sand pours from the hour glass yet time winds fast do remember me in dream by the melted sea by her long stream of hair and her bare smile I fell in love with love again I live that dream now to never awake from her cold, cold glee to remember how she smiled at me |
