Why is it so hard for you to know
That I am not just someone else’s shadow?
Why is it so difficult for you to see
That I am no one else, but me?
It’s very easy for anyone to promise the moon and the star.
It’s very simple for anyone to promise a future and an unchanging heart.
Yet, such promises are only flowery words if there’s never any intention to keep.
I will never try to promise you the moon and the star.
I probably can’t even promise you a future and all of my heart.
But is feeling my love for you really such a leap?
Why do you still hesitate?
Is it because of the promises that I will not make?
Do our times together not make you smile?
Can our cries of joy not be heard from a mile?
Then, why is it still so tough for you to understand
That it’s okay to fall in love again?
