Love & Death
by Samuel Stevenson
She left me alone with nothing more then a knife and my thoughts. I am a lone soldier, in a battle against myself. I am my greatest friend and my worst enemy.

Why do you come here to remind me of the past, for I already no y I must crawl. You are my reason and my reason is lost, only to return in my dreams, or: my nightmares.

She always reminds me that I'm dirt on one should have to look at. People step on me and little peaces of my filth stick with them. Someday I will be dirt and my sole lost.

As I walk the long cold road to know where, I think back to my childhood, so warm and bright and I can't stop smiling because she wasn't there.
