Just So You Know
by Sarah Gammon
When I look into your eyes,
A million words float to mind.
You sweep away the sad lullabies,
And sing me tunes I could never find.

The touch you possess is magical,
As well as the words you speak.
Something about you is special,
And it makes my knees fall weak.

I'm not sure exactly what it is,
But please don't let it fade away.
I would miss the way you kiss,
And how you want to see me each day.

With our fingers interlocked so tightly,
My heart skips some beats over you.
Your eyes tell secrets to me,
Of how forever could just be true.

One look and I swear its addiction,
And one touch and I can't let go.
On my heart, you're the best infection,
You mean a lot, just so you know.
