I'm thinkin' when I'll say these words to you
This is what is really true
I'm not trying to be phony, this is from my heart
So just listen closely and know why we shouldn't be apart
"Late at night when all the world is sleepin', I stay up and think of you"
No matter what is in your heart or mine I will always be true
I know you're not here right now, but that's okay
Wherever you are I will need you anyway
"Since you've been gone I can't sleep for the first time"
While im awake I always wish you are mine
When you were still here and already knew how I felt
It was hard to pass by you without wanting to melt
I never thought I'd see the day
The day you finally walked away
Now you're miles and miles and miles apart
On the road to tell you how I feel
I wouldn't know where to start
I believe in angels
The kind that heaven sends
I was surrounded by angels
But I called them friends
Words won't express how I feel
But you don't need a phony letter to tell you that it's real
I was forced to say goodbye
It ended in tears
Yeah I cried
Seeing you walk away didn't really make my day
I really wish you were here to stay
Yet my feelings haven't changed anyway
When you're gone I think about you
You're the real one I know it's true
I know we're not together
We're really far apart
But that doesn't change any feelings
Lying in my heart
No one needs you more than I need you
If we were together our hearts would be true
I know this is kinda cheesy
But it's comin from my heart
I'll do anything for us not to be apart
My feelings were a secret until now
But it's too late , you left and I didn't tell you
I didn't know what to say
I'm telling you now
So at least hear me out
I really really like you
I don't know how to deal without
As I'm writing this poem
My heart is beating fast
No matter how you feel
My feelings will last
When you were still here
I considered you as a close friend
The memories of happy sad and crazy times
Now must come to an end
Everything I feel
Has been said from my heart
Now you know why
We shouldn't be apart |
