Thoughts of you spinning in my head
Your hand in mine a smile upon my face
Laying here in this cold empty bed
Alone and feeling out of place
Yearning to be by your side
Holding each other in the dead of night
Sharing life's long wonderful ride
Love making each others world right
Until that time I have nights like this
Where my heart feels so alone
Your heart, your soul, I do miss
Smiling as I hear your voice on the phone
Tonight we will go to a better place
Bodies locked together in a passionate kiss
My fingers gently tracing the outline of your face
Knowing that tonight your body I will not miss
Our two hearts passionately beating as one
Bodies meshing and coming together
Laughing, smiling, having fun
Nights like this should be forever |
